Hometown Heroes - Save The Date

Friday, March 26, 2010 Luncheon at Branches Catering in West Long Branch

The staff of the Jersey Coast Chapter is excited for our brand new event recognizing our phenomenal volunteers! Volunteers will be honored at our Hometown Heroes luncheon on March 26, 2010 at Branches Catering in West Long Branch. The inspiration behind this campaign celebration is our volunteers – the faces of the Red Cross, our most valuable assets...our hometown heroes. The event will be attended by volunteers, staff, board members, and people from our local community. We are excited about this opportunity to showcase the lifesaving contributions of our volunteers with the general public.

Attendees will receive a "Book of Heroes", which will include all the names of our volunteers, showcase their amazing lifesaving contributions from 2009, and highlight personal dedications.

Hero Awards will be presented to four outstanding Jersey Coast volunteers and awards will also be presented to heroes within the community who mirror the example set by our Red Cross volunteers.
